About our Community - We reside in a private, gated, oceanfront community of 43 unique homes nestled on over 13 tropical acres in beautiful Napili, Maui. With stunning views, a quiet ambiance, and strong community values, there is a rare blend of natural beauty and aloha spirit. We are seeking a capable, hands-on Resident Manager to oversee all property operations and play a central role in maintaining the high standards of our community.
Position Overview - The Resident Manager is responsible for all infrastructure maintenance, landscaping operations, administrative oversight, and homeowner support. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, highly organized, and thrives in a leadership role with community interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair community infrastructure: pool, gates, septic, plumbing, electrical, roadways, water systems, and generators
Supervise and lead a landscape team maintaining 13+ acres of tropical grounds
Coordinate with vendors and contractors; perform in-house repairs and proactive maintenance
Oversee administrative functions, including homeowner requests, project tracking, and reporting
Support the Board of Directors in executing policies, managing budgets, and coordinating meetings
Engage with homeowners professionally, manage occasional conflicts, and foster a positive community culture
Be available for emergency response as needed (24/7 on-call)
What We're Looking For
Proven hands-on skills in general repairs, plumbing, irrigation, electrical, and mechanical systems
Strong leadership experience managing landscaping or maintenance teams
Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and basic financial tracking tools
Knowledge of Hawaiian flora and landscaping best practices
High emotional intelligence and professionalism in resident relations
Commitment to community values and pride in property stewardship
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Resident Manager, Property Manager, or Facilities Manager in Hawaii
Familiarity with Maui County codes and residential association operations
